Fall Update
Lately, I've been pretty consumed with work that I've been trying to find ways to not do anything. Only problem is, if you own a car that can be modified, you can never sit still. There's always some shit you gotta do and something is always broken so if it's not work, it's cars. I don't regret it though, it's been a passion and something I truly enjoy. I've also been watching youtube videos of cars and came across this guy's review on the 981 GT4. The review didn't stand out as anything significant but he said something that really reverberated with how I feel about cars. I could never really pin point my exact feeling until I heard his simple explanation for changing cars. "I value the experience of the next car more than the experience I have with the current." It's such a simple thought that I'm not sure why I couldn't have came up with that myself. Thinking more about it, the GT3 was the ultimate experience that I had so far in terms of car ownership but you know what they say, grass is always greener on the other side. I don't think that if I kept the car, I wouldn't really appreciate the GT3 since all my money was tied into buying the car outright. Lately, I've been getting the itch to get another one but I don't think it's the right time yet.
Anyways, the R33 sideskirts, lip, rear splats have been installed and I'm pretty satisfied with the look of the car minus the wheels. Since all the engine parts are still on back order, I'll probably change out the Recaro RSGK to something like the Recaro Pole Position Artista to match the 90s look better. Also, with the issues lately, I just need my Plazmaman manifold so I can put in the Motec M150, C1212, Wiring Specialty harness and wire in small things.
Motec M150 with billet plug and play adapter
HKS VCAM
Motec C1212 Motec M150
Last but not least, I picked up the new Supra. I've been holding off buying it for the past year but I really wished I got the car sooner. I'll save my feelings for that car on another post.
