Bimmer, Benz or...

Being in your 30s is weird. You're supposed to be somewhat near the middle path of your career, have some stability and kind of understand who you are and what you're about. I thought by now, I would know this but here I am buying what I thought I want and liquidating shit once again.

Let me preface this by saying that I'm usually pretty good at buying what I feel are a good fit for my lifestyle and everything I buy has a reason or benefit. Back in early September, I thought I wanted an Autobahn monster like the E63 AMG S. It was everything I wanted, big, powerful and looks amazing. I truly loved that car but after owning it for a short while, I think it'll be a car that I'll come back to later in life (if they still have gas cars).  As for now, Andrew purchased the car and now his ego is so big, his head won't fit inside the car.

The Tesla on the other hand, I have very complicated feelings toward that car. I understand electric is the future and with the way car companies are moving, it's only a matter of time. That being said, electric is just the future, not so much the present for me. There's absolutely nothing better than having enough battery to ignore the thought of having to charge it during the day and having self driving during shitty traffic. The big issue with the Tesla is that it's just a very boring car to drive. There's no excitement other than flooring it here and there but after a bit, it's just not the same. Luckily for me, cars are at an all time high so I sold it for a tiny profit.
