GT3
I've had the car for almost 4 months now and this is usually my make or break time for cars. I know there's a running joke that whatever car I get usually don't last over 3 months. Generally it's true, I do get bored and can easily justify why I should get rid of it. Some cars are reluctantly sold and then usually followed with a large feeling of regret afterwards. In this case, I think this might be a keeper for me. I'll admit that in the first month of ownership, there was nothing that really made me feel like the car was special and frankly, minus the speed, it felt like a smaller version of my Cayenne. I mean, when the car came into my possession, it had really bad bump steer which made the car not very enjoyable to drive. It wasn't until after Aki installed the Tarrett tie rods that I could finally relax and enjoy the car without death gripping the steering wheel. Once I stepped back and really see the car as a bigger picture and stop thinking of what it should be, my perception of the car really changed.
To sum up a GT3, it's like your favorite dish at a restaurant. You sit down with the expectation of what it should be and it obviously lives up to it. Take a few more bites, the dish gets better and at the end, you look forward to your next visit. From the sound of the engine, the way the suspension feels, the aesthetic of the exterior, to the overall package, it's an absolute joy to drive and own. Any thought I had about changing cars, I'm pretty sure it's on the back of my mind now. For what it's worth, I'm truly content. Honestly.
