R33 December Update
It’s been a while since I’ve updated the blog. The R33 remains sitting with a few parts arriving here and there. Drove it around a few times to remind myself how good the car is. So far, since the last blog, the front lip, sideskirts, mirror, and a few suspension bits have arrived. Of the parts that arrived, the nismo rear lower control arm and Moonface ball joints were the most disappointing. The LCA had some weld splatters and the ball joint anodizing looked like shit. I’m sure the parts will work well as intended but for the price, I was expecting better. Also had a chance to install the HKS exhaust. Unlike the Ganador exhaust, the exhaust points straight out to give it that OEM look. Compared to the Ganador, the exhaust is significantly quieter so that means I’ll probably go with a high flow cat. Currently waiting on the Nismo front bumper before taking the car into paint or for the front upper control arm to take it to Zero Auto Factory for suspension overhaul. Either way, January should be pretty busy for car shit.
On order:
