Body Work Time and Parts Update

I was digging thru my garage the other day and found my old Mugen collapsible box that I used frequently for my Civic Type R. I decided yeah, it's a good time to buy an all white Nismo box from Evasive so I don't have loose shit all over the car. Helps tidy up the interior and keep shit from flying all over. 

Also decided, it was a good time to start getting the car ready for some body work. Since the OEM hood and side skirts are a different color, I decided to just get those painted first before the bumper. The aftermarket Z-Tuned style hood isn't bad looking by any means but the fake overexaggerated N1 hood lip was just too ugly. I also couldn't decide on how I'd redo the hood pin so until I figure it out, I'll just run OEM.

Summer Thoughts and Updates

I've been lacking it this summer to be honest. I feel like so much has happened so far from setting up the warehouse to going to Europe for workcation but this summer still feels incomplete and I have an idea why. Lately, I've been really playing with my cars as a form of outlet regardless if it's stressful or not. Whether if it was bad or good, it was always somewhat relaxing but I'm starting to see this mentality change. Earlier this month, I picked up my R33 from ABS Autobody and had a few mods I've been trying to install. First thing I had get done was install Ohlins, Ikeya arms and SPL arms. Shortly after that, I put on the CE28 from my old R32 and yeah, everything decided to fail. First thing that went was the fuel pump control module then the bursted line and lastly, the alternator. S2000 Summer Pt1

Man, it's been a good minute since I've updated this shit but I finally have time to sit down for a few and take my mind of things to reflect back. Lately, life has been pretty hectic with work, travel and setting up the warehouse. Where I have down time, I usually use that time to arrange things for my cars or go run personal errands.  I had to go back to my previous post to look at what I had written since the car has gone through a slight transformation since then. Most importantly, the Regamasters and Renegade CF wing stands are finally on so the car, from the outside, looks about how I imagined it to look. Since this was mainly to be used as a track car, I added a splitter up front and Arvou tow hook to help. S2000, 15 years later

 I've spent the past 2 months slowly piecing the s2000 together. The car finally came back from the paint shop and Formula S. It's been fun putting this together and hunting for all the little parts but I'm still not done with this car yet. Every part has a purpose and a reason on why it's included. After bringing the car back and really looking at it, the car brings back so much memories from late 00s and early 2010s. It doesn't really stand out as a car that was built recently other than the Advan TC4 that are on it. Other than that, the S2 has been fun to drive and feels way quicker in the turn than anything I've had in the last few years.
