997 NOT GT3

Weather, lately, has been rather... brisk. It's the perfect weather, really, to enjoy cars like the R32 with questionable AC or the Supra that may or may not be prone to heat soaking. The weather is, as car people would call it, boost weather. I figured because of this, I should really drive the R32 as much as I can regardless of the weather. Given that the car was well maintained, clean and spacious, I ended up driving the car almost everyday for the past 3 weeks. I pretty much want to put this blame purely on Austin since I had to go to LAX to pick him up and only the R32 can fit a luggage inside. Even though the car is very analog and as much as I enjoy the nostalgic feel, the feeling of having something old definitely gets old quickly. I guess it's fine if you have driven only old cars or you're into using Nokia brick phones.  Right after the track day, I reflected a little on the Supra and thought, man, it's a nice car but I wanted something that felt a little more...

Black Friday Buttonwillow

On Black Friday, instead of participating in the usual routine of buying useless shit because it was a good deal, a few of us decided to go to Buttonwillow. Other than being pretty low drama of an event, there were still some shitty cars that managed to ruin the event.

R32

November is one of those months for me. It's about when I calculate my payroll and spend my bonus like I'm hood rich. Nothing wrong with living like Birdman or Juvenile once in a while.  Anyways, I sold the R33 recently with the anticipation of getting back into an RX-7. I was really sure I'd get another FD but the thought of all the extra RB parts and the thought of having to source FD parts pretty much killed the idea. It also didn't help that I found an amazingly clean R32 which really put the nail in the coffin on the idea of a FD. I wanted something a little more nimble than the R33 and the R32 really gave it that feel that I was looking for. The issue with these cars are that they're cool to look at and obviously sounds great with great tuning potential but they drive like crap compared to new cars. I guess drive like crap is subjective since new cars are more solid but doesn't give you excitement that older cars have. Either way, I like my cars to feel li...
